copyright ian 2001   Lonely fishing boat at the ferry jetty at Shodoshima. It is the second largest island in the inland sea; so-called because it is bounded by the islands of Honshu, Kyushu and Shikoku. An important place because of the 88 Sacred Pilgrimage Sites on the island.
