IAN'S PHOTOGRAPHIC JOURNEY
HONSHU (GALLERY 2)
While Kyoto and Nara are the cultural centres of Japan, Tokyo (and vicinity) is the commercial and technological hub of Japan. An attractive but soulless city. Everything was fast paced and the number of people at the train stations (especially Shinjuku) was mind boggling...even at midnight. I don't think I captured the madness of Tokyo very well in this gallery and on looking back, the serenity of temples seemed to draw me.
